I have an echo? What should I do?
Echo on the audio will tend to be when there is a player open in a separate window/tab that has the sound on and this is picked up by the mic which, in turn can give a loop. Additionally, there can be scenarios where there are two players unmuted and that can give this echo effect.
Users can try to disconnect all of the connected stuff ( microphones, headphones, speakers etc) and try again.
Additionally, please note that If you they are trying to view the webinar in both incognito and regular browser at the same time this can cause the echo.
Other possible solutions:
- If you have plugged both your speakers and your headphones, please unplug the speakers
- Try reducing the volume level of the microphone to 50% or turn off the mic boost option
- Reduce your browser volume to 50%
